Utku KORKMAZ completed his undergraduate and graduate studies in Environmental Engineering at Cumhuriyet University. Throughout his academic and professional career, he has made significant contributions to the field of environmental engineering. In his master's thesis, he thoroughly examined the electrochemical treatment of domestic wastewater and produced valuable academic outputs in this area.
During his academic career, he actively participated in scientific research projects and had an article published in a prestigious Q1 category journal internationally.
In his professional career, he has conducted fieldwork on water and wastewater management, emission-immision sampling, and reporting. He currently works as an expert in carbon footprint calculation and reporting with the CO2 Manager software at Ethic Metal A.Ş., one of the leading companies in the industry, and plays an active role in important projects in this field.
