 ETHIC METAL GERİ DÖNÜŞÜM SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş.

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to establish the terms and conditions for the use of information and data shared by individuals who register as members on the website located at https://co2manager.eu/tr-tr ("Site") and use the Site ("User(s)") and to outline the general framework for personal data processing activities carried out in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("Law") and related regulations. This Privacy Policy is an annex and an integral part of the User Agreement concluded with the User.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES ON PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING

 ETHIC METAL GERİ DÖNÜŞÜM SANAYİ VE TİCARET A.Ş. bases its personal data processing activities on the following principles as set out in Article 4 of the Law:

  • Compliance with the law and the principle of honesty,
  • Ensuring that personal data is accurate and, when necessary, up-to-date,
  • Processing data for specific, clear, and legitimate purposes,
  • Ensuring that the processing is relevant, limited, and proportional to the intended purpose,
  • Storing personal data for no longer than the duration required by the relevant legislation or for the purpose for which they were processed.

In accordance with the above principles, personal data belonging to customers, guest customers, employees, job candidates, potential product and service buyers, dealers, suppliers, supplier representatives/employees, visitors, online visitors, shareholders/partners, business partners, and service providers and recipients will be processed securely in physical or electronic environments in compliance with the Law and this Privacy Policy.

LEGAL BASIS FOR COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

Ethic Metal A.Ş. collects personal data through the website at https://co2manager.eu/tr-tr, as well as other websites, mobile applications, social media accounts, physical site visits, emails sent to the company’s email addresses, cookies, faxes, postal services, notifications sent by judicial and/or administrative authorities, and other communication channels in compliance with the personal data processing conditions stated in the Law.

The personal data is processed based on different legal grounds and legal relationships, depending on the nature of the legal relationship between the User and the Company (e.g., customer, prospective customer, employee, job candidate, physical visitor, online visitor, business partner/supplier). Also, personal data may be collected for different purposes, depending on the nature of the interaction with the User (e.g., call center or event processes).

USE OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data uploaded by the User to the Site remains the property of the User. The Company will not disclose or sell this Content without the User's prior consent. The Company will not disclose the Content transmitted electronically through the Site to third parties beyond the purposes and scope defined in the User Agreement. The Company commits to maintaining the confidentiality of the Content and taking all necessary precautions to ensure its protection.

If the User grants consent, their Content may be processed, stored, and transferred to third parties, such as payment processing, invoicing, bank integration, third-party applications authorized by the User, and direct marketing, as part of the services provided.

USER RIGHTS UNDER THE LAW NO. 6698

Under Article 11 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, individuals have the right to:

  • Learn whether their personal data is being processed,
  • Learn the purpose of processing their data and whether it is used for the intended purpose,
  • Request information about the personal data being processed,
  • Know the third parties to whom their personal data is transferred,
  • Request correction of incorrect or incomplete personal data,
  • Request the deletion or destruction of personal data when the reasons for processing cease to exist,
  • Object to results arising from automated processing of personal data that has a negative effect on them,
  • Request compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing of personal data.

However, the rights mentioned above do not apply in certain cases as per Article 28 of the Law, such as processing personal data for the prevention of crimes or for the investigation of crimes.
